This role researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical/aerospace products for aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles, missiles, and associated ground and test equipment. Applicant will apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications. Primary focus will be on ICBM’s and ground support equipment. Tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to, design of components/systems, preliminary/sizing analysis for both stress and dynamic analysis of aerospace structures, and coordination/leading of tasks. Position requires preparation and presentation of reports, briefings, design documents (drawings and specifications), schedules, and interface with customers. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
