Job Description:/h3:
We have an exceptional career opportunity our client is a full service real estate investment, development and management firm based in West Los Angeles. In:house disciplines include property management, construction, leasing, accounting, legal and financial analysis. We are seeking a high quality, detail oriented Property Manager / Executive Assistant for our nationwide Commercial Portfolio. Qualified candidates must have experience in commercial property management. This is a significant role in a small, entrepreneurial company with great potential for growth.
Responsibilities include:
o Organize all files and systems to streamline workflow
o Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
o Review and understand Lease Agreements, Insurance Policies and Bank financial
reporting requirements.
o Compile information for Monthly and Weekly Reports, provide condensed highlights of
important issues and ensure follow:thru on outstanding items
o Strong communication skills (verbal, electronic and written) to effectively interact with Tenants and Vendors
o Supervise and manage the operations and maintenance
o Ability to negotiate Leases and service agreements for all contractors, vendors and personnel
o Monitor and identify opportunities to increase income and decrease expenses
o Yearly CAM reconciliation with proper backup documentation for tenant review
o Work closely and collaboratively with accounting and all other office staff
o Provide acquisition input and assistance in due diligence process, including review of financial and operational assumptions
o Manage short:term high:end beach resort vacation rentals (3 properties plus one development opportunity)
o General office administration
Qualifications:
o Extremely detailed oriented
o Effective and efficient communication skills (English required, Spanish a huge plus)
o Bachelors degree preferred
o Minimum 5+ years experience in commercial property management
Required Skills:
o Exceptional organizational skills
o Good common sense, interpersonal skills, accuracy and initiative
o Very resourceful proactive thinker
o Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
o Experience with AppFolio and QuickBooks
o Knowledge in VRBO, Airbnb, and other vacation rental websites
o Social media and Internet Marketing a plus
o Excellent project management skills
o Excellent problem:solving skills
o Ability to work in a team environment
o Ability to effectively execute assignments and meeting deadlines
o Ability to think creatively and out of the box
