The Associate Director Tech Business Solutions will lead the Technical Business Solutions R&D team in support of the development, implementation and use of ASP products and technologies for reprocessing medical devices. This team represents the external-facing arm of R&D with deep product and technology expertise.
The responsibilities of this team will include:
â Customer problem-solving requiring significant technology/product expertise
â Device qualifications for reprocessing in ASP systems
â Standards development related to the ASP business
â Planning and execution of competitive studies/testing
â Field training on new products/technology
â External technical presentations/publications
â Development of deep expertise on customer practices for translation
into new product concepts.
This person will be expected to plan, coordinate and execute team deliverables in conjunction with business and medical device manufacturing partners. This person must challenge and motivate people to engage with customers and translate those learnings to product development and commercialization. This person must lead others in reaching their highest potential; create an environment that encourages risk-taking; promote teamwork; encourage others to pursue challenging goals and to challenge the status quo; and foster continuous professional development and career growth of a diverse workforce.
Â· Must have an M.S. or Ph.D. in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field required
Â· A minimum of 8 yearsâ experience in instrument reprocessing required
Â· Must have demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams and effective communication skills required
Â· Experience working with application development teams required
