The first round of interviews will be scheduled starting Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 and final interviews will be scheduled the week of Monday, June 19th, 2017.

Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. The Human Resources Manager maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities:
•Supports management by providing human resource advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and requests.
•Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
•Establishes and maintains department records and reports, ensuring accuracy of information housed on HR information system (Paychex).
•Perform recruiting for all open positions and/or based on company needs; prepare/update/post job ads, review resumes, schedule and conduct interviews, administer testing and background checks, and counsel supervisors on candidate selection.
•New hires: prepare offer letter; complete new employee checklist; update payroll and company records accordingly; and conduct new employee orientation.
•Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures; update company handbook when policies change and inform staff of changes.
•Serves as primary contact for employees to resolve conflicts, issues and/or concerns. Guides supervisors through effective resolution of employee relation situations to ensure fair and consistent treatment for all employees
•Coach and mentor supervisors ensuring that proper written documentation is obtained; assist supervisors with written warnings; attend employee counseling meetings.
•Administer payroll and ensure all payroll records are up to date with compensation alterations.
•Administer benefit programs such as health, dental and vision insurance, vacation, sick leave, and leave of absence; and manage open enrollment.
•Ensure employee records and files are up to date and maintained according to federal and state legislation; maintain past human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keep records of benefit plans, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
•Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
•Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
•Prepare employee final paycheck and complete exit checklist, related documentation and conduct exit interviews.
•Oversee Family Medical Leave Act, Workers Compensation and Leave of Absence tracking.
•Administer employee health and safety program.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development.
•A minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
•Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
•A minimum of two (2) years of payroll processing experience.
•Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality HR services in a fast- paced, high change environment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
•Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
•Demonstrated ability to influence, coach and counsel both employees and management.
•Experience responding effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
•Experience managing workplace investigations.
•Ability to build appropriate relationships with management and non-management staff.
•Working knowledge of HRIS database; experience in implementing new HR software systems preferred.
•Experience working as part of leadership team, with a keen understanding of business strategy, business process, and how HR aligns to overall business priorities is required.
•Working knowledge of applicable state and federal human-resource-related laws and regulations required.
•An independent leader who is a self-starter has a strong sense of ownership.

Benefits:
•Medical, Dental and Vision the 1st of the month following 60-days of service
•24 hours of paid sick time annually after 90-days of service
•40 hours of paid vacation time annually after 1-year of service

Hours:
•Monday - Friday / 40 hours per week
