Delivers revenues and profits by developing, marketing, and providing appealing restaurant service; managing staff. The General Manager support coordinates all food service activities of restaurant establishment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
:Places orders for the café to include: Food and beverage orders, produce, breads, uniforms, dry goods, paper supplies, cleaning supplies, small wares and office supplies
:Is responsible for ensuring the La Brea Bakery Café is in complete compliance with all Company, local, state, and federal laws and regulations with food safety, cleanliness, and overall kitchen and building safety
:Is responsible for coordinating any maintenance of the restaurant (plumbing, electrical, POS, equipment, etc.); takes action as needed
:Maintains operations by implementing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and patron:service standards; determining and implementing operational improvements
:Performs monthly Quality Assurance Audits to include customer service, food preparation and presentation, weights and measures, restaurant cleanliness, and facilities maintenance; reviews all audits with restaurant leadership team and communicates results and action plans with all restaurant personnel
:Creates a professional and safe work environment for all employees, vendors, and customers; properly coaches and counsels employees as needed; hold employees accountable
:Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints. Follows proper company protocol for documenting incidents.
:Monitors and manages key performance indicators such as hourly labor, transaction averages, speed of service, and inventory levels; analyses all variances supported by reports and implements action plans to correct any issues or concerns
:Creates employee schedules to ensure proper staffing for the business needs. Makes proper adjustments to scheduling to execute and operate efficiently, while maintaining great customer service standards.
:Assigns register; counts out cashiers; reconciles all deposits; prepares bank deposits; orders change
:Coordinates, schedules, and properly trains all staff to their job descriptions. Ensures employees receive proper and ample training prior to scheduling employees on their own.
