We are looking for a Part Time Business Office Assistant. An ideal candidate is someone who is ready and willing to roll up their sleeves and support the HR Department while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy. This position will have a high degree of integrity, attention to detail, focus on accuracy, and commitment to confidentiality is paramount to success in this position. A good attitude and willing to learn is essential in thriving in this role. Reports to (Supervisor/Manager):

Works under the VP, Human Resources

Direct Reports:

None

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Records management (filing, file room maintenance)

o Personnel file audits (arbitration agreements audits, term file audits, etc.)

o Finance and Human Resources audit assistance

* Serving as back-up coverage for the corporate receptionist

* Manage new hire documents process

o Create and maintain candidate files

Assemble new hire folders for submission to HRIS/Comp Specialist upon hire

* Assist Regional HR with corporate events such as anniversary dinners, holiday events, etc.

* Assist with clerical functions as needed

Desired Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* In process of completing a Bachelor's Degree

* 0-1 years of experience as Clerical Assistant

* Lives within 15 mile radius of Los Angeles office

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.

* Commitment to accuracy.

* Commitment to and Understanding of the need for CONFIDENTIALITY.

* Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

* Strong communication skills (written and oral).

* Ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact through all situations and across all levels of employees

* Commitment to excellent customer service.

* Critical thinking (ability to think quickly, logically, and independently)

* Personal computer, including word-processing, database and spreadsheet programs; calculator, telephone, copy and fax machine.
