Job Description

Position Title: BOOKKEEPER / Quick Books experience- Part Time
Schedule: PART TIME (15-20 hrs per week)
Years of Experience: 1-2 YEARS

Bookkeeper with QuickBooks experience needed for a fast paced office located in a non-profit in Downtown LA. Candidate must be interested in the BUSINESS side of the fashion industry. Additional administrative assistant duties are also included in the job.

Professional Requirements: Strong computer skills, extremely organized and detail oriented. Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and be able to interact with professionals in person. MUST HAVE strong experience with QuickBooks, Excel, Word and PowerPoint in an office setting. Experience with ACT, Robly and/or Constant Contact is preferable.

Personality Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outgoing, proactive, works well without supervision. Takes initiative and able to multi-task efficiently. Sales or Marketing experience is a plus.

Candidate should be able to make use of public transportation to office or should reside in Downtown LA; parking is NOT reimbursed. There is flexibility on hours/dates worked (15-20 hours per week)….preferably available Monday to Thursday, part-time.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
➠ Preparing and updating information packets
➠ Handle Quick Books accounting
➠ Correspondence with members and prospective members
➠ Research
➠ Maintaining detailed office files and databases
➠ Newsletter development
➠ Answering phones, making copies
➠ Handling RSVP’s for seminars and meetings; maintaining lists.
➠ Preparing name tags for meetings and events
➠ Assisting in PowerPoint presentations
➠ Creating email blasts (newsletters, member service bulletins, event flyers, etc.)
➠ Assisting with event management duties
