The Assistant/Associate will provide administrative support to the firm and assist the firm’s Founding Principal.

Associate tasks may be incorporated into this role, depending on candidate qualifications. There is a preference given for candidates with event planning experience.

The Assistant/Associate must be able to function efficiently and independently in a professional manner.

T2AM’s working environment is intense, but casual and collegial.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, yet established, firm that provides a rich learning environment.

Working hours are 6:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

Compensation shall be comprised of the following components:

Base salary: $60-90k, depending on experience

Full benefits: Medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, 401-k plan

Discretionary bonus:

Determined by Founding Principal, based on individual achievements

Potential access to profit-sharing:


Percentage of firm’s profits, offering significant upside

Typical work activities

Administration

answering office phones and greeting visitors to office

coordinating details for office visitors

liaising with other staff, service providers and other industry professionals

managing incoming and outgoing email, faxes, mail and couriers

organizing and maintaining office systems and supplies

arranging business travel – flights, hotels, ground transportation, meetings
maintaining team members’ calendars

Assistant

managing, organizing and maintaining the Founding Principal’s calendar

scheduling appointments and social events, and arranging all details

screening all telephone calls, inquiries and requests

communicating with other industry professionals on behalf of the Founding Principal

transcribing handwritten notes and formatting in a presentable manner

running errands and performing various tasks on behalf of Founding Principal

arranging travel and accommodations

Associate (dependent on candidate qualifications)

planning, coordinating and attending (offsite) events

managing internal processes related to investment due diligence and portfolio management
