Job Summary
Palos Verdes Peninsula Association of REALTORS® (PVPAR) is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support a non-profit member organization of 700 real estate agents, who conduct real estate business in the Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, Palos Verdes Estates and Rolling Hills and also inclusive of the surrounding cities in the state of California. ​

Required competencies include: excellent phone and people skills; ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe products; exceptional organization skills; ability to meet deadlines; detail oriented with the ability to provide creative input and thoughtful suggestions; ability to work as a team member; excellent communication skills; and ability to provide exemplary customer service.

General Office Responsibilities:
• Communication to Membership- daily reports, e-mail notifications and reminders of Special events, update Website Calendar accordingly, social media posts, and flyer preparation for events.

• Customer Support- store sales, event & class registration, support for real estate technology (Supra lockbox, etc.), and Multiple Listing Service support (CRMLS Matrix System)

• Association Support- administrative support to the Executive Vice President, educational courses, volunteer committee support, database membership management (Rapattoni), assist in organizing Fundraising events, assist in maintaining website, which includes the calendar of events, etc. (Many tasks are performed by Website Designer) and maintain and manage small association store.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the real estate industry, hospitality, education, marketing or another related field.

• 7.5-hour work day / 37.5-hour work week

• 8:30am to 5pm (Open to members from 8:30am to 4pm)
