Job Description One Stop Parts Source is seeking a Pricing Analyst who is interested in learning the automotive aftermarket industry. In this role, you will provide meaningful, actionable pricing analysis that helps our company set competitive and profitable pricing for the marketplace. Responsibilities: · Provides regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management · Takes initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margin. · Reviews market trends for pricing opportunities to optimize revenues. · Conducts fact-finding exercises as needed to review basis of price/cost trends and development of cost key performance indicator metrics. · Establishes reasonable pricing positions, best value determinations and economic order strategies. · Supports price negotiations held with supply base. · Conducts analysis of complex costing problems and provides solutions · Presents pricing analysis and recommendations to various teams, up to and including management. · Provides details including market comparisons, downstream impact of proposals, and review of steps needed to implement change. · Analyze and maintain customer price plans · Improves pricing processes, analytics and standard tool development for use by marketing and sales to optimize profitability · Utilizes analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings · Utilizes MS Office with emphasis on Excel; will independently develop new Excel models, charts, graphs and procedures as necessary · Assists with special department projects at the direction of the Product & Marketing Manager Minimum Qualifications: · 1 to 3 years related experience; automotive industry experience is a plus but not required · Bachelors degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting or business administration; or equivalent experience · Must be knowledgeable in the concepts, principles and standard practices in costing and pricing · Prior experience with ERP systems; Epicor Vision and Compass preferred · Must possess a high level of business and financial acumen Skills and Abilities: · Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills required · Computer literate with knowledge of computer applications relevant to the position, including spreadsheet applications · Advanced Excel skills which includes building complex spreadsheets and formulas · Excellent math skills and strong attention to detail · Strong organizational and follow up skills with the ability to manage several projects at once · Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the desire to learn and to grow with the organization · Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills · Must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic · Access a plus EEO M/F/D/V
