This role is pivotal in helping the business by evaluating commercial results including sales, cost of sales and investment opportunities as well ensuring financial compliance.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Reporting and Analysis, price monitoring and analysis, cost monitoring and analysis, Financial Planning and Close responsibilities (Journal Entries and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations), conducting meetings with various business leaders, interacting with finance management and other functional areas including SOX team and will include preparation of ad hoc materials as needed. The Commercial Finance Analyst is a key point of contact and plays a critical role in driving results, program and project initiatives and maintaining compliance.

The individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements and supporting compliance processes and must adhere to all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices. The Commercial Financial Analyst will ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures and complete other duties assigned as needed.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.

• Work towards a CPA, CMA or other financial certification(s) is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of finance/accounting or related business experience is required

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries is preferred.

• Strong analytical, conceptual, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is preferred

• The ability to think creatively and work collaboratively in a team environment is required.

• The ability to effectively take on leadership roles and partner with associates at all levels of an organization in various functions is required.

• Strong Excel skills are required.

• Working knowledge of COGNOS, SAP and/or TM1 is preferred.

• This role is located in Irvine, CA and may require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
